Airstrip Security System Control

This system consists of two conduction-cooled 10-slot CompactPCI® racks. One is placed near the airstrip while the other is placed in the control tower. The customized racks are based on MEN's CCA (conduction-cooled assembly) concept, enabling operating temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. Each rack consists of an F19P-based Intel® Core™ 2 Duo CPU board with several M-Modules™ and a PSU, with all boards customized for conduction cooling. The M-Modules™ control the hardware of the security system via digital and analog interfaces, all of which are available via special rugged connectors.
