Infusion Pump Gateway Computer
Infusion pumps ensure safe intravenous administration of drugs to patients in both critical and routine situations. They deliver the needed drugs with high accuracy and consistency, thus preventing overdosing.
This PowerPC based gateway computer is the heart of a system that controls up to 24 infusion pumps. It is a full-custom embedded single-board-computer design developed and produced in accordance with medical requirements. Besides all state-of-the art PC interface, both WLAN and Bluetooth are supported for wireless data transfer. The SBC connects with the hospital, ensuring easy and cost-effective central patient monitoring.
Standard Components Used in this Example
The CC10C is an ARM i.MX6 based Rugged COM Express type 6 module with a Cortex-A9 architecture and an onboard FPGA for flexible, customizable I/O. It is designed for industrial automation, medical computers, in-vehicle computers, and embedded computers in transportation. The CC10C supports conductive cooling technology and is 100% EMC proof.
CC10S is a small-footprint multi-display controller for 7-15" panels based on the NXP (Freescale) ARM i.MX 6 for driver desks and in-seat displays in trains/buses, aircraft, medical devices or HMIs.
