How to find article, revision and serial numbers

Article and Revision Numbers

  • The article number gives the board’s family and model. This is also MEN’s ordering number. To be complete it must have 9 characters.
  • The revision number gives the hardware revision of the board.
  • There is one of three different types of labels on your product which indicate the article and revision number.

They look like this:

Serial Number
The serial number is a unique identification assigned during production.
The serial number's label also has a matrix code on it and looks like this:

When a device or a system is returned, the inspection charge is calculated from the number of boards in the device or system. Note: For repairs, MEN charges a standard rate per board (at MEN's sole discretion) or the time and material expenditure.
