R: IGMP is not working with the original driver from MICREL
M: The original driver always enabled IP checksum calculation,
but the chip's calculations were only correct for packets
with an IP header length of 20 bytes.
IGMP packets use a header of 24 bytes length.
This driver version supports enabling/disabling IP checksum offload

This driver makes it possible to disable the Ethernet controller's hardware checksumming. If this feature is enabled, packets of the IGMP protocol are corrupted.
