Vehicle Box PC for Digital Signage
This in-vehicle box PC is the board computer of public transport vehicles controlling any kind of passenger information system, for example infotainment, next stop signs, audio systems or ticketing machines. The system can control up to four displays with a resolution of up to 2560 x 1600 pixels.
The heart of the system is the SC24 single-board computer powered by an AMD Embedded G-Series APU (Accelerated Processing Unit), the T48N, running at 1.4 GHz.The G-Series combines low-power CPUs and advanced GPUs, in this case an AMD Radeon HD 6310, into a single embedded device. The SC24 is combined with an adapter board for quad graphics connection offering two DisplayPort interfaces and various other I/O.
The box computer is compliant with the EN 50155 railway standard and the ISO 7637-2 standard (E-mark for automotive).
Standard Components Used in this Example
The SC24 is a maintenance-free, AMD G-Series based CPU board designed as the heart of box and display computer systems for use in commercial vehicles, mobile machines, railway applications, avionics and industrial automation.
