This new CompactPCI Serial card is designed for high-end embedded computing applications in rolling stock, rail wayside, industrial and medical automation. It is based on the 13th generation Intel® Core™ Series processors U/P/H, also known as Raptor Lake. With up to 6 performance and up to 8 efficiency cores, the card is ideally suited for virtualization applications. A key factor of the new card will be an integrated GPU supporting applications such as AI inference, intelligent CCTV and object detection.
Scalability is one of the most critical aspects of the new board, particularly in terms of memory configuration and CPU performance. The G029 is being developed to address the demands of modern embedded applications and harsh environmental conditions.
